Reclaim Power is a 6-month mentorship program designed for visionaries, changemakers and storytellers. It is is a holistic, compassionate and trauma-sensitive approach to building a business or project, with a focus on decolonial praxis and personal/collective healing. This program is designed to support and guide those who reimagine systems and ways of being.

This program is created and run personally by Danielle Khan Da Silva, who is a National Geographic storyteller, Sony ambassador, conservationist/protector, two-time TEDx speaker, and Founder of organizations Photographers Without Borders and Sumatran Wildlife Sanctaury, and is the co-creator of many other organizations and initiatives (more about Dani here). This is an intimate, holistic, compassionate and trauma-sensitive approach to building a business or project, with a focus on decolonial praxis and personal/collective healing that is designed to support and guide those who reimagine systems and ways of being that facilitate a protected, healthy planet.

BACKGROUND

With Sony’s support, this program began in 2020 with two mentees. The program continued into 2021 with a group of 18, and it’s continued on into 2022 and 2023. The program will continue in 2024 and applications will open in late November/ early December 2023.
